Art's Alive at Mardi Gras!

Last Saturday, I took part in the Art's Alive event in Sharon, PA.  It was my third time doing this event and it was held at The Corinthian Banquet Center.  At "Art's Alive at Mardi Gras" there was a hall full of local artists, live music, and some non-profit organizations.  New Orleans style food was also available.  One of my hometown friends was able to join me and after a quick lunch and a Pat Catan's run, we set up shop.  Sales weren't great, (I blame the icy roads,) but it was really awesome to see so many of my Mercer County artist friends!  Special thanks to all who came out and especially to those who worked so hard to put it on.  I can't wait for the summer and the outdoor festivals!

Every time, I set-up, I do things a little differently.  I'm always looking for ways to be more efficient and improve my shop.

Even Seamus was in the Mardi Gras spirit!

There were some bakers selling cupcakes and other baked goods.  I couldn't pass up these yummy shamrock cookies!

Cupcakes for dinner.  Hooray!

Musicians entertained the crowd.

Some of my painted cork ornaments.

Using my school photographer skills to load everything onto ONE cart!  (I'm happy to report that we made it down the elevator and to the car without anything falling off!)
