Day 335: Matisse Font
This project has given me a chance to experiment more with digital art and graphic design. I'm still far from being an expert, but hopefully I'm making some progress.

Day 333: Don't Look
This is a prompt from the Noah Scalin book from a few days from now, but today felt right for it. I didn't look at this at all until it was finished. Not too bad, huh?

Day 331: Cyber Monday
Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a great holiday weekend. I don't really buy into the whole shopping craziness. Today, though, is known as Cyber Monday and I thought it would make a good subject for today's project. While I don't at all condone the aforesaid shopping craziness, I hope that if that's what you are into, you consider supporting your local businesses or buying something unique and handmade from any one of millions of creative artisans at Etsy.com. This is part of a screen shot of my shop with a special temporary banner for today.

Day 329: Felt the Love
I've had these sheets of sticky-back felt in my drawer for months maybe. Today, they finally saw the light of day and were made into a project. Originally, I wanted to print a template for the letters, but my printer wouldn't let me on account of the magenta being out. This printer goes through ink like I go though cookies, I tell you! Then, removing the product labels made the felt fuzzy so I ended up with making a 4x6 inch project. I'm not even sure what it is exactly, but I'm going with coaster...

Day 328: Project Remix
Some nights I just stare at my computer waiting for an idea. Sometimes they are slow in coming, but I always come up with something. Tonight, I give you "Project Remix" made of pieces from daily projects so far this year. Enjoy!

Day 323: Music Media Day
Day 323... 43 days left! Can you believe that? Anyway, I went by the book again today (imagine that) and it suggests working with music media (CDs, etc.) I doodled with permanent marker on this blank CD which, hopefully, will soon be home to my "Feel Good Mix" once I can gather together a collection of songs that brighten my mood. Hope this Sunday finds you well. Thanks for checking in today!

Day 322: Restroom Signs
Today, the prompt from the book is inspired by men's/women's restroom signs. For this one, I took the image and "removed the wall" between the people.

Day 321: How to Love Shelter Kitties
Today, the book suggests making a diagram for something that usually doesn't need one. This is my version and the directions are as follows:
1. Take old blankets to animal shelters.
2. Make dogs and cats happy and comfy.
3. Repeat.

Day 319: Nothing Says 'Love' Like Corn
You can now add a can of corn to list of materials I've worked with this year. That's due to the fact that at this time of year, different organizations are banding together to put on food drives so more people can have a real Thanksgiving dinner. So God bless all the people throughout our region who were out in the cold all day today gathering food and donations.

Day 318: Leave a Note
It's the little things. Sometimes, all it takes is a quick "I love you" on your way out the door. Would if showed someone some love today by leaving a note?

Day 317: It's Not Easy...
It's Day 317. I was halfway through this when it occurred to me 317... 3-17. (St. Patrick's Day.) I knew there was a reason this was green!

Day 316: Veterans' Day
To all those who served or are serving, to all those who sacrificed or are sacrificing, and to all servicemen and servicewomen everywhere... thank you. God bless you all.

Day 313: Reusable Art
I hope everyone had a good day today. I was able to go to the arts and crafts store and get some more ATC cards. Then, I had dinner with friends. When I got home, I had to figure out what to do for my project today. I took a textured ATC card, some tissue paper from a gift bag, and the inside of the envelope for a credit card offer I got in the mail today and made this. Enjoy and have a great night.

Day 311: Vote Love!
Are you sick of political signs yet? I know I am. You turn off the tv just to see there are negative yard signs, too! This year, who ever you vote or voted for... just love.

Day 310: Mark Your Calendar!
Tomorrow, for all my American friends, is Election Day, of course. It's a day to celebrate the right to vote that so many worked and died for. So, I say we all put on a big boy/girl pants on and not only do our civil duty, but be grown-ups about it. The world needs love and civil discussions, not mud-slinging. The thing about mud-slinging is we all end up dirty and unhappy. So mark your calendars... (end political rant.)

Day 309: Self Collaboration
Today, I bring you a collaboration... with myself. I drew this in an old Moleskine in August of last year. I decided to make some additions today. Enjoy.

Day 308: Apple Day!
It's that time of year. Dad's in the kitchen peeling apples and creating his annual batch of apple/pear sauce. Later, I get one of my other favorite things: Mom's Apple Crisp! I got some of the apples that went through the peeler and turned my snack into art.
It's also that time of year when I get a slew of people posting to my Facebook wishing me a happy birthday and I'm grateful for each and every one of them. I feel truly blessed to have so many awesome people in my life that post, call, or buy me my favorite cake. Love you all!!
