I totally thought today was Lifesize Person Day when it was, in fact, Rubbings Day. Whoops. Oh well. I can always do this later. I just sat down after work and exercise and was trying to think of something to do when I spotted this bird stencil/ cutout I made who-knows-how-long-ago. I pulled out my box of collage stuff and some paints and just played around a little. This is the end result: a mixed media piece which includes concentrated watercolor, watercolor paper, scrapbook paper, pen, glue stick, and gesso. The colors make me happy. I hope they make you happy, too.
