Day 44: This Little Light of Mine

"You are the light of the world.  A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.  Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl.  Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.  In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."  -Matthew 5:14-16 NIV

Today's mission was to make something that lights up.  It suggests using candles or existing lampshades.  I just printed out the words on cardstock, cut them out like a stencil, and taped it to my table lamp.  The circle shape reminds me of those little metal circles used in photography studios that are put over lights to project patterns on the background.  (5 cool points to whoever can remind me what those are called!)  I even turned this around to see how it projects, which isn't that clear, but there is some potential there.  Hope you enjoy.
