"You know you're supposed to back through the other ones right?"
This is my mom teaching me to cross stitch earlier today. The books says to learn something new today and my mom's been cross stitching for as long as I can remember. She showed me how to separate the threads, how to catch the loose end, and go back over to make the 'x.' After the yarn project the other day, I knew better than to select something that looked easy but would take forever. I found this simple alphabet in a book of cross stitch patterns and spent about three crime dramas and part of the news stitching the letters. Ta-da!
