Day 4: The creativity journal suggested that today I go for a five minute walk and use whatever I could find. Well, here in the snow belt, winter has come at last and I decided not to risk getting hit by a snowplow so I decided to draw a slip from the box. The slip said "taped text boxes" which is a technique/activity found in a book I have about art journaling. It involves masking tape on patterned paper, a paint brush, and an ink pad to create a faux spray paint look. Then, I stenciled the words using a permanent marker. The photo is from a trip to the zoo and I printed it with my new (and very cute) photo printer.
