Day 15: Plastic Wrap Crinkle
Well, I made it two full weeks now. Thanks for checking in. Today, I drew a slip from the "Mystery Box" and it said, well, plastic wrap crinkle. It's a texturing technique from one of my many books on art and mixed media. You simply brush a good bit of paint onto a surface, cover it with plastic wrap, smoosh it around a bit, and let dry. Look close at the orangey yellow part. The rest of the color scheme didn't work out exactly how I wanted it to, but I tried to make the best of it. Problem solving is key to making art and making mistakes can provide opportunities to try things you wouldn't have otherwise.
